P18.01(2)(T) The Board shall establish a means for identifying gifted and/or talented students in each of the categories identified in s. 118.35(l), Stats. Varied, appropriate measures for the identification of gifted and/or talented students shall be used including intelligence assessment, achievement assessment, leadership measures, creativity measures, product evaluations, and nominations. A student may be identified as gifted and/or talented in one or more of the categories of intellectual, academic, leadership, creativity, and/or fine arts. The Board shall provide access, without charge or tuition, to identified students. The District shall provide an opportunity for parental participation in the planning of proposed programming.
